Five race winning streak
The speedsport historic racing team, competing under the "Classic Team Merlyn" banner, have enjoyed a very successful season to date.
Pierre LIvingston, driving one of our Merlyn Mk20A Formula Ford cars, has driven superbly in his second season of racing to score five consecutive victories and five pole positions in the past two meetings at Oulton Park and Cadwell Park. Pierre also established new lap records at both venues
Leading the Championship now, Pierre can cement things at Brands Hatch on October 24/25 when the final two HFF races take place at the Formula Ford Festival.
After that we will be running two new drivers, Mark Carter and Jamie Vinall-Meyer in the famous Walter Hayes Trophy meeting at Silverstone on November 1st.
We've also been busy preparing and racing an F1 Cooper-Alfa in HGPCA races at Brands Hatch, working on customers' Merlyns and also taking care of a beautiful 1966 ex Jack Brabham Repco Brabham BT20 F1 car which will shortly be going on display in the new Silverstone Experience Centre here at the circuit.
