| A wet and treacherous Donington Park in the East Midlands was the venue for the latest round of the 2007 Elf Renault Clio Cup Championship and Stefan Hodgetts was once again a driver to be reckoned with.
After a drama filled 36 car race Stefan had to fight his way back from 12th up to 3rd to take the podium and those all important points.
From five qualifying rounds, the 25-year old has now scored four victories, a stream of fastest laps and a third place.
Stefan Hodgetts: I’m naturally disappointed not to have made it five wins from five starts, but it was great to fight back to take a podium position after that first lap incident. I had to work hard to recover what I could and I’m happy that I was able to do so and maintain my lead in the Championship.
The next round of the Elf Renault Clio Cup in on the 28th & 29th July at Snetterton in Norfolk.
