| After loosing out on the Championship title during Round 11 of the Elf Renault Clio Cup, Stefan Hodgetts drove a superb race in Round 12 to secure his second place overall in the drivers standings, then taking the final win of the year at the Thruxton circuit in Hampshire.
The race was full of drama from beginning to end but Stafan was untroubled by the events unfolding in midfield, going on to take victory ahead of the newly crowned champion Martin Byford.
Commenting on the victory, Stafan said: "Finally I got to have a race with Martin, which is what we've been waiting for all season long. To win five races in such a competitive championship is a good result and it was a great season but obviously it's a shame it wasn't quite enough to take the title".
